Families

Families members who are struggling often benefit when the whole family can come together and communicate openly about their challenges. In order to do this, the therapy environment must feel safe for all members to share without fear of judgment and criticism. Together, we will look at the elements of interpersonal dynamics that are reinforcing old, unhealthy patterns in communication and behaviors. I work with family units struggling with parenting, pre- and post-divorce, grief and loss, substance use and addiction in the family, infidelity, as well as more general issues like communication, family roles, and parenting.
